Important Notice from SmartDevices on SmartQ5 and SmartQ7

Dear Customers,

How are you?

To be responsible for our valued customers, based on internal evaluation results, SmartDevices has decided to continue improving WINCE firmware. Today the new firmware based on Ubuntu has been issued for customers to upgrade their device.

Special information:

This new firmware supports multi system startups, can automatically recognize the WINCE firmware in SD card, will ask the user which system shall be used at startup. As for other functions of this new firmware, please refer to the instructions of new firmware updates.

It is anticipated that WINCE firmware will be launched by next Friday, which is 10 July, 2009.

Our reviewing and issuing of authorization certificates is in progress simultaneously.
